Palkova/Milk cake/Doodh peda/Milk sweet/Doodh fudge

Ingredients:
Milk
1 litre
Sugar
4 tbsp
Ghee
1 tbsp
Cardamom powder(optional)
¼ tsp

How to prepare Palkova:
  • In a pan boil the milk in low or medium flame. I used non-stick pan.
  • Keep stirring the milk occasionally by removing the milk which sticks on the side and bottom of the pan.
  • The milk will reduce to half and start to thicken. Now add sugar and keep stirring.
  • Milk will start to get solid consistency. Add ghee along with cardamom powder and stir well.
  • At one stage the palkova will start to leave the pan. Now is ready to serve.

Tips:
  • If you feel the peda is too hard sprinkle warm milk and mix it.
  • Use full fat milk for creamy texture and taste.
