Aloo masala curry/Aloo-coconut milk gravy

Potato(boiled)

Coconut milk
1 cup
Onion(chopped)

Green chilli

Salt
As required
Turmeric powder
¼ table spoon
Oil
4 table spoon
Mustard seed
½ tea spoon
Curry leaves
Few
Coriander leaves
Few

How to prepare masala gravy:
  • Pressure cooks the potato and let it cool. Peel the skin and smash it slightly.
  • Add the Green chilli, turmeric powder, salt along with the coconut milk.
  • Temper the mustard seed, curry leaves, coriander leaves in oil. Sauté the onion till it become translucent.
  • Now add the coconut milk and potato. Allow it to boil till it becomes thick as gravy. The can be served along with pori, chappthi.
Tips:
  • If required you can also add the boiled peas while boiling the curry.
